I know it's womenz work, but some of you identify as them...or locomotives...and that's ok. This one looks interesting, but not sure about the ham in there.

True, it's becoming a lost art.

I make a really good lasagna - and the secret is in the addition of bechamel sauce with a pinch of cinnamon and a pinch of nutmeg. The white sauce the Brazilian describes is bechamel.

I use a red whole plum tomato based meat sauce as well, but usually with chopped beef and pork. I would like to try using tender short ribs next time I make it.

The mozzarella those guys use looks like fake American deli mozzarella. I'm sure it would improve with fresh mozzarella which is readily available here in New York.

I'm not ready to throw in some deli ham though! ;-)

My two granddaughters are not easy to please and I make lasagna for them on request. ;-)

Tonight I made some szechuan tea “smoked” pork ribs that were pretty bangin’

Was a first for me but they were damn good. I’ve kind of come up with my own version of a szechuan-styled mise en place, so I’ve been exploring with it and trying different ideas lately. This one tonight was definitely one of my faves so far.

I can try and get it all down and post it a little later. I probably should write it all down anyway cause I really dug it. It’s not a proper smoke though, I’ve heard this style referred to as that by some chefs I know but its actually more tea-steamed prior to frying. Maybe that doesn’t sound fancy enough. I’ve heard you can actually tea-smoke stuff, I’ve never done it though.

Did you craft this in medieval engineers or real life?

It's not if you can see the plate through it.

I can cook up a storm. If you want to keep the hot chicks around better learn how to cook, and enjoy it.
