It's been active since the 80's but really going off now.

  • Looks like things are settling down now.

I'm also seeing reports about the homes destroyed by lava are not covered by insurance policies. The risk is too high so many homeowners are losing everything. 1000 earthquakes hit the Big Island.

That’s why I stay away from reunions.

Everyone pretends to be someone they’re not and of course a volcano sneaks in and tries to pretend they’re french

Ban Volcanos!!! This goes against everything AlGore is trying to accomplish!! Just say NO to global cooling.

“Kilauea emits between 500 and 10,000 metric tons of noxious sulfur dioxide gas (SO2) daily, during periods of sustained eruption,” according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).

In addition to creating acid rain, sulfur dioxide can mix with other gases to cause haze and in extreme cases, climate cooling.

The eruption of Mount Pinatubo in the Philippines in 1991 was one of the largest volcanic eruptions of the 20th century and injected a 20-million-ton sulfur dioxide cloud into the stratosphere. It “cooled the Earth's surface for three years following the eruption, by as much as 1.3 degrees F at the height of the impact,” according to the USGS.

A bit late, but they often have lava flow there. Which may sound like a bad thing but actually isn't because it precisely means the volcano won't explode.

Will Hawaii become the next Pompeii? Will future archaeologists find big breasted bikini chicks encased in ash and put them in museums?
