Flynn has resigned.
This makes me happy. If someone can't be trusted or is incompetent then GTFO because there's others out there who can do the job the right way. I wish some useless congressfarts could get the boot that fast but we can only vote so many times.

This is all Trump's idiocy. He was warned about the Russians and he still allowed Flynn to stay on. The bromance with the Russians is mysteriously strong with this administration.

I'm satisfied to see Flynn go, even though the most unfavorable reports of what he'd had to say to the Russians was that there was no certainty that the sanctions would remain under Trump. The content of the communications seems light. The main issue for me is that he had any impermissible communications and then tried to hide something of significance from POTUS and VPOTUS. One can speculate that they already must have been aware, but in the case of Pence, I think the evidence suggests he was pissed off that he was ill-used defending Flynn. So time to move on.
It's good to see Trump recognizing the necessity of replacing Flynn.
As to the bromance?
I am probably as bothered as anyone about Trump's failure to accept the findings of the intelligence community on Russian meddling, but I haven't believed in the bromance. I still expect Trump to buck Putin at some point soon.
Not far in our memories is the very public argument as to whether we should communicate with the Iranians or not . . . and what to do about Pakistan, friend or foe. (Hint: the prior two US presidential elections.) I think it's better to periodically try to reset relations with enemies and frenemies. To the extent that Putin is more willing to engage with Trump that he was with Obama or would have been with Clinton . . . it's a good thing or at least not a bad thing.
Funny how everyone listens to every lie about Trump but forgets about all the money the Clintons were bribed for weapons deals. Oh yeah and the huge amount of Uranium she sold to the Russians for the millions of dollars they donated too. Can't remember?
