Actually, Amazon calls it "The Tank"

It's a bit unusual for an anti-war war movie, but the crew here will like it.

It's ostensibly about a mission in soviet Ukraine to retrieve a German Colonel who participated in the battle for Stalingrad and who remains in no man's land and one, if caught by Russians, may reveal German secrets like where depots or bunkers are located as well as the use of German communications radio frequencies.

The review below may give away a bit too much.

I did figure out what was happening early on in the movie much to my immensely disserved credit for perception despite what Lob may think of me. ;-)

It's actually not bad. Entertaining enough to watch when you're bored.

3 1/2 Lithu Stars(TM) because of the creativity in the plot.

3 1/2 Lithu stars? So it was worthless?

So what’s the ratio for a good movie? 350 Lithu stars? 3500?

I had to check out a few things about what the Tiger was up to during the film.

For one thing, it smokes like the chimney of a German WW2 "incinerator."

The Russian SU-100 and T-34s smoked as well.

Did they all need ring jobs?

Quality of the fuel available at the time had something to do with it.

There was another surprise - at least for me. Something that Rats could not simulate.

I hear they are pegged to the ruble.

Did you mean pegged to the rubble or pegged to the rabble?

One time I popped a IVG that was in the other side of a bush from me cause it fired up the engine and the smoke gave me the exact location.

When the Tiger was first introduced, I tried it a few times and died each time pretty quickly. Everyone wanted to kill a tiger.

I had one ei sapper following me on foot (of course) for perhaps up to ten Km.

Every time I saw he was getting close, I move another klick or two. He finally got me anyway.

I couldn't turn the tank or the turret fast enough to get him.

Fucker was relentless.
